Bearing retaining compound - .34 oz
Similar to locktite for bolts, this compound fills wear gaps on shafts so the bearing won't slip. It actually cements the bearing in place. I use this frequently on quill bearings and for the control sheave bearing. Shopsmith uses this too, even on new machines.
This is a handy small bottle of the compound. Difficult to find. I buy a large bottle of it and it lasts me for a couple of years. This small bottle is more than sufficient for your rebuild project.
